We use this 1" drapery rod above for pleated draperies with rings, and for grommet drapery panels. This 1" rod has an optional inner steel sleeve for extra stability & strength. Has swivel componet to turn corners. Nice rods!

Also these metal rods are available in small 1/2" size rods - no inner sleeves.  List above for finial style/rod sizes.
